DJ UK Royal Mail To Confirm GBP10.3 Bln Pension Deficit -Sky News

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Royal Mail's pension fund trustees are to write to members this week to confirm the company's GBP10.3 billion deficit, Sky News reports on its website Wednesday.

Some 400,000 members will be told the deficit has trebled since its last valuation, the report says, and the U.K. government is expected to respond by confirming plans to part-privatize the service.
